The first-ever edition of the Tukubum Cultural Festival was a historic milestone, a rebirth of peace, pride, and unity among the Bum people.
Under the patronage of the Minister of Arts and Culture and the leadership of the Paramount Fon of Bum, the 2024 festival brought together Fons, Ardos, Sarikis, and thousands of Bum sons and daughters from Cameroon and the diaspora.

Voices and Faces of the First Edition (2024)
The Tukubum Cultural Festival 2024 brought together a diverse array of performers, delegations, and cultural ambassadors, each adding color, sound, and spirit to the celebration. From the eight Fondoms of Bum to guest artists across Cameroon and the Bum diaspora abroad, every participant carried a story of unity and pride.
Bum, Sawi, Saff, Jull, Mbuk, Mbamlu, Faat, and Mungong
The heartbeat of the festival came from the traditional delegations representing each Fondom of Bum Subdivision. Clad in regalia woven with ancestral symbols, each group performed their unique dance styles, chants, and drum rhythms, transforming Fonfuka into a living museum of heritage.
Beyond the Bum Subdivision, the 2024 edition welcomed cultural groups and performing artists from neighboring communities across the North-West Region of Cameroon. Their presence reflected the message of solidarity beyond borders.
BANA (North America) & BCOM-UK
No celebration of Bum culture would be complete without the vibrant voices of its sons and daughters abroad. Representatives from the Bum Association of North America (BANA) and the Bum Community in the United Kingdom (BCOM-UK) made the journey home to support, perform, and reconnect.
