Wisdom and foresight among the elders eventually led to a historic resolution. Under the leadership of Fon Mbonghayang and Fon Tam Yendong a joint traditional peace conference, known as the Peace Pact, was convened on the boundary between Kom and Bum to end hostilities and restore lasting harmony across the region.
