Showcasing The Cultural Heritage of The Bum People

Tukubum Website logo

Where the drumbeat of unity echoes through the valleys, and every dance tells the story of resilience, peace, and togetherness. Tukubum is more than a festival; it’s a celebration of identity, a covenant of peace, and a reunion of hearts across generations and continents.

The Spirit of Tukubum

Tukubum was born from two sacred roots, the agricultural traditions that sustained our ancestors and the peace dialogues that ended ancient conflicts. Today, it stands as a living covenant for peace, heritage, and community rebirth.
It is where we remember who we are, honor where we come from, and celebrate the unity that keeps us strong.

The Day of the Bum People

What Unites Us is Bigger Than What Divides Us

Born from the sacred traditions of the Bum people, “Tukubum” means the Day of the Bum, a time once blessed by the goddess of fertility and later consecrated as a symbol of peace and renewal.

Today, it stands as our bridge between past and future, where culture becomes dialogue, and unity becomes progress.
